Galer rushed for 146 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.7 yards per carry while Defoe gained 105 total yards and two touchdowns. The dominant performance gave him a new career- in total yards.
Lincoln was moving up and down the field and finished the game with 402 total yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Woodland only gained 178.
Lincoln wouldn't let Woodland keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Pj Soto was the leader in that area as all came courtesy of his dominant performance.
Meanwhile, Bella Vista was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 22-14 to Casa Roble. The game was a 14-14 toss-up at halftime, but the Broncos couldn't quite close it out.
Although Bella Vista took the loss, they still got scores from Hugo Lopez and Tyson Ballinger.
Bella Vista's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of Guillermo Perez and Ballinger. Perez also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making seven total tackles and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception.
Lincoln's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-0. As for Bella Vista, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
