Baseball Recap: Godley Comes Up Short

The Godley Wildcats came up short against the Robinson Rockets on Saturday and fell 7-2.

Crosby Carmichael was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryder Papasan, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Godley's loss dropped their record down to 20-4-1. As for Robinson, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

Looking ahead, Godley will be playing at home against Venus at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Robinson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
