They were the clear victor by a 64-42 margin over Livingstone Adventist Academy. The victory was just what Redlands Adventist Academy needed coming off of a 65-44 loss in their prior contest.
Redlands Adventist Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Micah Brooks out in front who scored eight points along with 17 rebounds and two blocks. Brooks has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 13 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Calhoun, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds and seven assists.
Redlands Adventist Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for Livingstone Adventist Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Redlands Adventist Academy will head out on the road to challenge Milo Adventist Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Milo Adventist Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Redlands Adventist Academy in their respective states (Milo Adventist Academy is ranked 239th in Oregon, while Redlands Adventist Academy is ranked 743rd in California). As for Livingstone Adventist Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against St. Paul at 7:00 p.m. St. Paul has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
