The Vienna Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Versailles Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Vienna will be strutting in after a win while Versailles will be coming in after a loss.
Even though Vienna has not done well against Iberia recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, Vienna made off with a 54-53 win over Iberia.
Meanwhile, Versailles ended up a good deal behind Knob Noster last Friday and lost 56-37.
Vienna's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Versailles, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
Vienna came up short against Versailles in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, falling 49-43. Can Vienna avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
