Sedrick Vaughn Turns in Season-Best  Effort
 On Friday, Vallejo got the W thanks in part to  Sedrick Vaughn playing the best football he has all season. Vaughn rushed for 260 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.3 yards per carry, and also picked up 33 receiving yards, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process. He didn't just play on offense: he also forced a fumble and made two total tackles.
 On the season,  Vaughn  has averaged 73.2 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year,  he had two  rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to six.

Jozhon Stallworth's Big Game Can't Quite Lead De Anza over Saint Mary's
 While De Anza might've come up empty  on Saturday,  Jozhon Stallworth wasn't going down without a fight. Stallworth turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 209 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry, and also picking up 58 receiving yards.
 De Anza is  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-6. Stallworth and De Anza will welcome Salesian College Preparatory  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Big Game from Swanson As Saint Mary's Won 21-14
  Wyatt Swanson was a major factor in Saint Mary's  victory over De Anza on Saturday. Swanson was unstoppable, rushing for 101 yards and three touchdowns. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing a fumble and making two total tackles.
 Saint Mary's now  has a winning record of 4-3. Swanson and Saint Mary's will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Salesian College Preparatory at 1:30  p.m.  on November 2nd.

 El Cerrito found a leader in  Joezon Broussard as the  team took down Salesian College Preparatory on Saturday. Broussard turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 109 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
 El Cerrito pushed their record up to 5-2 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  on the road. Broussard and El Cerrito are on the road again  on Friday to play Vallejo at 7:00  p.m.

Lavern Malikii Makes It Two for El Cerrito
 Keeping Broussard company is  Lavern Malikii, a fellow El Cerrito player. He rushed for 93 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
 For the season,  Malikii  has run in 6 touchdowns while averaging 91.5 rushing yards per game.
