Aila Kaibara put up the most points she's had since back in December of 2024 on Saturday. She went 8 of 16 on her way to 24 points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played.

Kaibara and Phoenix Country Day will face off against Horizon Honors at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Phoenix Country Day got just the result they wanted when they last faced Horizon Honors, probably because Kaibara had a solid game then too: she went 7 for 16 en route to 22 points and four steals.
