North Fork hasn't had much luck on the road recently (they'd lost five straight) but thanks in part to  Alyssa Dawes that streak is no more. The North Fork Miners took their  match  on Thursday with ease, bagging  a  58-21 victory over the Aspen Skiers thanks to  Dawes, who  went 6-for-13  en route to 17 points and five  rebounds. The dominant performance gave  her a new career-high in  boards.
 Another player making a difference was  Meri Hollembeak, who  posted eight  points and seven  assists. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's  played.
The  win  got North Fork back to even at 9-9. As for Aspen,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 4-13.
 Coming up, North Fork will head out on the road to  take on  Grand Valley  at 5:30  p.m.  on February 21st. As for Aspen, they will head out to  face off against Coal Ridge  at 1:30  p.m.  on Saturday.
