Chicago Mt. Carmel hadn't done well against St. Rita recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Chicago Mt. Carmel Caravan blew past the St. Rita Mustangs 74-28. The Caravan have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 21 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Grant Best, who went 9 of 15 en route to 20 points along with eight assists and five steals. George Gray was another key player, putting up 12 points and three steals.

Best wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Chicago Mt. Carmel was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Chicago Mt. Carmel's victory bumped their record up to 19-5. As for St. Rita, they dropped their record down to 4-19 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home.
