A well-balanced attack led Saks over Pleasant Valley in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Saks Wildcats blew the Pleasant Valley Raiders out of the water with a 62-16 final score. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Saks was led to victory by Sania Angel and Madison Turner. Angel went 8 for 11 on her way to 22 points and four steals, while Turner dropped a double-double on 20 points and 16 boards. Those 20 points gave Turner a new career-high. Alonna Crews was another key player, putting up ten points and five steals.

Saks pushed their record up to 15-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.8 points per game. As for Pleasant Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-14.

Saks has already played their next contest (against Jacksonville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Pleasant Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Coosa Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st.
