On Friday, The Lovell Bulldogs faced the Hot Springs County Bobcats in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Lovell took their game at home with ease, bagging a 40-13 win over Hot Springs County. The result was nothing new for Lovell, who have now won three contests by 27 points or more so far this season.
Lovell's win was their ninth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 6-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.2 points per game. As for Hot Springs County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Lovell will head out on the road to face off against Big Horn at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Big Horn is coming into the game hot, having won their last seven games. Hot Springs County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
