Ian Houser posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out four batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Houser and Tri-County will square off against South Newton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cavaliers are a perfect 10-0 against the Rebels going back to May of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
