Colon is 8-1 against the Indians since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Colon Magi will stay at home for another game and welcome the Tekonsha Indians at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Saturday, Colon came up short against the Broncos and fell 65-56. Even though they lost, Colon's still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 50.3 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Nic Mock, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Dalton Williams, who scored 13 points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Tekonsha had to endure a ten-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They strolled past Marshall Academy with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 61-43. Tekonsha's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Colon now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Tekonsha, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-13.
Everything came up roses for Colon against the Indians in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 as the squad secured a 76-33 win. With Colon ahead 44-15 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
