It was a good run, but East River unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 47-46 to the Suncoast Chargers.

Jamarey Harris was his usual excellent self, going 6 for 9 on his way to 15 points and six rebounds for Suncoast. Harris' afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Walter Brinkley, who posted four points and nine rebounds.

East River's defeat dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Suncoast, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.

East River didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 52-47 loss against Spruce Creek on the 27th. As for Suncoast, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 63-15 win against Innovation on the 27th.
