John Leffler was his usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with three steals for Tuscarawas Valley. Leffler hasn't dropped below 15points for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Virgil Myers, who scored seven points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Strasburg-Franklin has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Tuscarawas Valley, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.
Strasburg-Franklin will head out on the road to take on Shenandoah at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Tuscarawas Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Claymont at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Claymont is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
