On Friday Trigg County take on Fort Campbell at 7:00 PM. Trigg County have the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.
Trigg County took their match against Russellville last Friday by a conclusive 45-16 score. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Trigg County had established a 38-8 advantage.
Meanwhile, Fort Campbell have had to suffer through a 4-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had enough points to win and then some against Fort Knox, taking their matchup 27-12. The success represented a nice turnaround for Fort Campbell, who in their last game suffered a tough 0-38 loss.
Their wins bumped Trigg County to 3-2 and Fort Campbell to 1-4. In their win, Fort Campbell relied heavily on junior Matthew Middleton jr, who passed for 218 yards and 3 touchdowns. Trigg County will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
