In what's become a running theme this season, the Methodist Children's Home Bulldogs gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They really took it to Valor Preparatory Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 57-24 victory at home. Winning may never get old, but Methodist Children's Home sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Methodist Children's Home found their leader in underclassman Londen Bickham, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds. Bickham is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last 14 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Daraun Taylor, who scored 17 points along with two steals.
Methodist Children's Home's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4. As for Valor Preparatory Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-10.
Methodist Children's Home will head out on the road to challenge the Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Hill focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten last Friday. As for Valor Preparatory Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Chargers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
