Kayne Case posted a new career-high in RBI on Friday. He scored four runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has become a key player for Loyd Star: the team is 8-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 4-9 otherwise.

Even though Case couldn't lead Loyd Star over West Lincoln, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Hornets are 7-2 against the Bears going back to April of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
