Shomper Came Up Big in Williams Valley's 47-0 Victory
Starting off the list is Williams Valley's Brady Shomper, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Shomper threw for 224 yards and four touchdowns on perfect 9-for-9 passing, and also rushed for 66 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries.
This year, Shomper has thrown 17 touchdowns while averaging 168.3 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 23.71 passing yards per game.

Niko Castillo Turns in Season-Best Performance
Schuylkill Haven was led to victory by Niko Castillo, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Castillo rushed for 133 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 57 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
On the season, Castillo has run in 8 touchdowns while averaging 65.4 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 2.14 rushing yards per game.

Tri-Valley Gets a Boost from Gemberling in 42-0 Victory
Tri-Valley found a leader in Cole Gemberling as the team took down Shenandoah Valley on Friday. Nobody could stop Gemberling as he rushed for 111 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries.
If the past is any indication, Gemberling could be in store for another big game when he takes on Mahanoy Area on Friday. Gemberling rushed for 168 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Golden Bears duked it out back in October of 2023.

Fletcher Thompson Makes It Two for Williams Valley
The second Williams Valley player making an appearance here is Fletcher Thompson, and for good reason. He rushed for 174 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.
On the year, Thompson has run in 6 touchdowns while averaging 110.6 rushing yards per game.
