Preston Hatfield Turns in Season-Best Performance
Preston Hatfield produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Lee's Summit to the win on Friday. Hatfield rushed for 278 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 17.4 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 72-yard run.
The win was the fifth in a row for Lee's Summit, bringing their record for this year to 7-1. Hatfield and Lee's Summit will welcome Lee's Summit North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Friday, Staley had to settle for second even though Draivyn Colvin put up the best numbers he has all season. Colvin rushed for 198 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.0 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 72-yard run.
Staley is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7. Colvin and Staley will challenge Raymore-Peculiar at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Lee's Summit Gets a Boost from Layman in 63-28 Win
Another Lee's Summit player making an appearance on this list is Brayden Layman. He threw for 270 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last four games he's played.
