Lewis J. Bennett has been on the road for five straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will finish 2023 at home by hosting the Cardinal O'Hara Hawks at 6:30 p.m. Lewis J. Bennett will be strutting in after a win while Cardinal O'Hara will be coming in after a loss.
Even though East scored an imposing 57 points last Thursday, Lewis J. Bennett still came out on top. Lewis J. Bennett walked away with a 67-57 win over East. The victory was just what Lewis J. Bennett needed coming off of a 86-27 defeat in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, Cardinal O'Hara's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 63-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Williamsville North.
Despite the defeat, Cardinal O'Hara saw an underclassman step up: Cannon Dotson scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Gavin Johnson, who scored ten points.
Lewis J. Bennett's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-3. As for Cardinal O'Hara, their defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-5.
