For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times LaSalle and Northwood have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The LaSalle Tigers blew past the Northwood Gators 13-3. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won six contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

The victory got LaSalle back to even at 7-7. As for Northwood, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

LaSalle has already played their next game, an 18-12 defeat against Harrisonburg on the 14th. As for Northwood, they are taking a road trip to challenge Lakeview at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northwood is facing Lakeview at the right time seeing as Lakeview is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
