The Harvest Prep Warriors will be home for the holidays to greet the Springfield Wildcats at 3:15 p.m. on Sunday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Harvest Prep has four straight victories, Springfield has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Harvest Prep scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Wellington School 93-29 at home. That 93-29 margin sets a new team best for Harvest Prep this season.
Harvest Prep had a senior duo take command as Adonus Abrams scored 20 points along with seven steals and five rebounds and London Foggie scored 20 points along with four steals. That's the first time this season that Foggie scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Khalil Daniels, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Meanwhile, Springfield had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 69-52 bruising from Springboro.
Harvest Prep pushed their record up to 4-0 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 35.44 points. As for Springfield, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
