The Osborne Cardinals can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They secured a 54-48 W over Kennesaw Mountain. Osborne's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Leading Osborne to victory were Azjorya Robinson and Nia Morgan. Robinson scored 13 points along with two steals, while Morgan scored 21 points along with two steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Morgan has scored at least a third of Osborne's points.
Osborne's victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6. As for Kennesaw Mountain, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost 14 of their last 15 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-20 record this season.
Osborne will be playing at home against Wheeler at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wheeler is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Kennesaw Mountain, they will head out on the road to challenge Walton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Walton presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Kennesaw Mountain in Georgia (Walton is ranked 187th, while Kennesaw Mountain is ranked 452nd).
