Smith County barely beat Cannon County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Owls were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Lions on Wednesday. That ten-run margin sets a new team best for the Owls this season.

Smith County has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Cannon County, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
