Marcus Townsend went supernova for Terry, rushing for 175 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.3 yards per carry, and also throwing for 61 yards and a touchdown while completing 71.4% of his passes.
Fort Bend Kempner has yet to win a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 0-10 record. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 9.9 points per game. As for Terry, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-8.
Fort Bend Kempner will play host again and welcome Angleton, where kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Angleton presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Fort Bend Kempner in Texas (Angleton is ranked 195th, while Fort Bend Kempner is ranked 907th). As for Terry, they will head out on the road to face off against Manvel at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
