The Red Level Tigers and the Georgiana Panthers squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but sadly the Red Level Tigers had to settle for second. They fell to the Panthers 72-68. Red Level was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Georgiana apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Red Level's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Georgiana, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season.
Red Level does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Georgiana, they will be playing at home against Southern Choctaw at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Alabama (Southern Choctaw is ranked 259th, while Georgiana is ranked 270th).
