The Shore Regional Blue Devils scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. Everything went their way against Keansburg as Shore Regional made off with a 64-38 win. With Shore Regional ahead 37-14 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Shore Regional's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Reese Fiore, who scored 19 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Conley Smolokoff, who scored 16 points.
The win got Shore Regional back to even at 2-2. As for Keansburg, their defeat was their third straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shore Regional will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Asbury Park at 4:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024. Asbury Park comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 16 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. Keansburg will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lakewood at 4:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
