After flying high against St. Johns Classical Academy last Tuesday, Halifax Academy came back down to earth. The Halifax Academy Knights lost 69-45 to the University Titans on Wednesday. Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead University to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaxson Harris, who posted ten points and five rebounds. Halifax Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for University, their victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-3.
Halifax Academy will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Florida School for the Deaf & Blind at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Halifax Academy is facing Florida School for the Deaf & Blind at the right time seeing as Florida School for the Deaf & Blind is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for University, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 62-58 win against Pine Ridge on the 13th.
