Hamilton faced Arrowhead in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Chargers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Warhawks. The win was familiar territory for the Chargers, who have now won six matches in a row.

While Hamilton won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 29-27, 25-15.

Their offense was headlined by Ben Bayer and Cole McCoy, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Charlie Mrotek and his 28 assists. Finally, Corbin Meyer kept Hamilton's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Arrowhead lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was William Cornell, who had 15 assists and four digs. He has been hot recently, having posted 14 or more assists the last four times he's played.

Hamilton's victory bumped their record up to 23-5. As for Arrowhead, their loss ended a six-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-11.
