Reagan Morris made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. The victory (which was Meridian's third in a row) raised their record to 10-10. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for Kuna, they dropped their record down to 9-15 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Looking ahead, Meridian will challenge Owyhee at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Storm have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. Kuna does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
