The Amelia Academy Patriots will head out to take on the Kenston Forest Kavaliers at 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Amelia Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.

Things were looking good for Amelia Academy after they put the first points on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of North Cross by a score of 5-4.

Amelia Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Creswell, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI. Another was Amir Hall, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Kenston Forest hadn't done well against Brunswick Academy recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Kenston Forest walked away with an 8-5 win over Brunswick Academy.

Kenston Forest pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Amelia Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both Amelia Academy and Kenston Forest just can't seem to miss. Amelia Academy has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.8 hits per game. However, it's not like Kenston Forest struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 3.2 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
