There's no place like home for Banning Lewis Academy, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Calhan Bulldogs with a sharp  3-0 victory on Tuesday. That looming  3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Stallions yet this  season.
 Banning Lewis Academy not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Calhan between 17 and 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-17,  25-20.
 Kira Lewis paced Banning Lewis Academy's offense, picking up nine kills. Lewis got some help from  Alyson Martinez and her 14 assists.  Camryn Lanza and  Amelia Perez kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

After both having extra time off, Calhan and The Colorado Springs School will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Kodiaks will roll in looking for their  sixth straight  win, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
