Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tempe). They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the Moon Valley Rockets 72-42. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Buffaloes as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Nassir Cobbs continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 27 points and five rebounds. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Arthur Murphy, who posted 12 points and eight rebounds.

Moon Valley's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maurice Brown, who earned seven points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tae Carlisle, who had seven points and six boards.

The win got Tempe back to even at 4-4. As for Moon Valley, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Tempe didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 76-37 victory against Goldwater on the 12th. As for Moon Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 56-53 loss against Walden Grove on the 12th.
