Toay Ragatz was cooking despite his team's loss, going 4-for-5 with four runs, three doubles, and four RBI. Those RBI marked the first that he brought in this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Timmerman, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Prairie du Chien ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Cuba City 14-13. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Blackhawks have posted since May 18, 2024.
The team relied heavily on Bryce Lenzendorf, who went 3-for-5 with five RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Brennan Koecke was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.
