Several Bears players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ty Gaddis, who scored 6 points along with 6 assists and 6 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Trayton Traweek, who scored 8 points along with 9 rebounds.
Ouray found their leader in underclassman Cavan Pasek, who almost dropped a triple-double on 31 points, 15 rebounds, and 9 blocks. Caleb Crandall was another key contributor, scoring 2 points along with 12 rebounds and 8 blocks.
Dolores' loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Ouray, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Dolores will square off against Soroco at 4:20 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ouray, they will look to defend their home court on December 6th against Ridgway at 4:30 p.m.
