The biggest upset of the week belonged to Wesclin, who defeated 507th ranked Red Bud, 55-33.
The Warriors were the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from sixth to third in Cahokia. Wesclin defeated the Musketeers 55-33 earlier in the week.
Dupo's dynamic duo of Brett Aldridge and Larry Scheppelman proved tough for Central to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Aldridge threw for 165 yards and Scheppelman had 79 yards receiving. Tyler Barnes helped Dupo's passing attack out by catching 7 balls for 56 yards.
The Tigers' dynamic duo of Aldridge and Scheppelman proved to be unstoppable against the Cougars, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Aldridge put up the best numbers through the air as Dupo lost to Central.
Camren Shewfelt was the best running back in the league this week. In 26 carries, he ran for 87 yards as Columbia fell to Brian Short's team.
Scheppelman was the best receiver in the league this week as the Tigers fell to the Cougars.
Two of the top teams in Cahokia will go toe-to-toe this week when Dupo takes on the Eagles. The Tigers' offense has scored 18 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while Columbia has allowed only 13 on the year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Red Bud takes on Carlyle. As it stands, Dave Lucht's team is in fourth, while the Indians are in second.
Scott Horner's team moved up to 218 from 279 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Eagles climbed the ranks as a result of besting Waterloo 19-13.
