The Wolfson Wolfpack will head out on the road to challenge the Hilliard Red Flashes at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wolfson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.
While Wolfson's victory against Stanton wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wolfpack had just enough and edged out the Blue Devils 5-3. The win continues a trend for the Wolfpack in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won six in a row.
Aiden Hallowes looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off five hits.
On the hitting side, Jaydin Morrissey and Cam Wiggins did most of the damage at the plate: Morrissey went 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base, while Wiggins went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI. That's the most hits Morrissey has posted since back in March of 2025.
Meanwhile, Hilliard got the win against ED White on Friday by a conclusive 7-1. That's two games straight that the Red Flashes have won by exactly six runs.
Luca D' Astoli spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up 11 Ks.
At the plate, Hilliard let Jacob Cooper and David Hern run wild. Cooper got on base in two of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run, while Hern went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Cooper is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Anthony Musgrove also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Hilliard picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 3-9. As for Wolfson, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
Wolfson was able to grind out a solid victory over Hilliard in their previous matchup back in February of 2025, winning 12-8. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolfpack since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
