In what's become a running theme this season, Tri-Valley gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 54-30 margin over Flanagan/Woodland. The score was close at the half, but Tri-Valley pulled away in the second half with 33 points.
Tremont aren't just finding sucess at home, as their game on Monday extended their overall winning streak to three. They came out on top against Heyworth by a score of 42-34. Given Tremont's advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 209th, while the Hornets are ranked 484th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Tri-Valley is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season. As for Tremont, their win bumped their record up to 17-9.
