It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Coahoma Bulldogs had no problem doing just that on Monday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 61-23 win over the Panthers. Coahoma has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 18 matchups by 21 points or more this season.
Blanco's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Mina Broyles, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and two steals, and Kaylee Romero who scored six points along with eight rebounds. Broyles is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
Coahoma has been performing well recently as they've won 15 of their last 19 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 24-9 record this season. As for Blanco, their loss dropped their record down to 16-18.
Coahoma's road trip will continue as they head out to face Brock at 6:00 p.m. on February 16th. Brock will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Coahoma surely won't give up without a fight. Blanco does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
