 Vanguard College Prep got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Xavier Lopez out in front who  went 8 of 16  en route to 16  points and four  steals. Lopez has been hot, having  posted two or more  steals the last five times he's  played.  Nicolas Murithii was another key player,  putting up 16 points.
Vanguard College Prep is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record  this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 65.3 points per game. As for Tioga,  they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-6.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vanguard College Prep will face off against Humphreys Able Charter at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Tioga, they will challenge Stockton Christian at 5:00  p.m.  on January 23rd.
