Towanda came out on top against Canton on Thursday thanks in part to Boom Thompson's efforts. Thompson scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Looking ahead, Thompson and Towanda will be playing at home against Troy at 4:30 p.m. on the 11th. The Black Knights have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since April of 2019, but a win here would be a good start.
