Neshannock was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Chartiers Valley only posted a batting average of .000.
New Castle's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Neshannock, they pushed their record up to 1-0 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.
