On Saturday NC Stars will take on Davie Pride at 4:00 PM. NC Stars come in off of five low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.
Things haven't been easy for NC Stars, and their matchup last Saturday only extended their streak of losses to five. It was close but no cigar for NC Stars as they fell 0-2 to Rocky Mount HomeSchool last Saturday. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the state rankings mixed up the winning team.
Meanwhile, after flying high against Hampton Roads Generals two weeks ago, Davie Pride came back down to earth. Davie Pride were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 14-19 to TEACH.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the victory. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
