The Harlem Bulldogs's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Salem Seminoles at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th. Hopefully Harlem focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Friday.
Harlem pushed their score all the way to 56, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 62-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of Academy of Richmond County.
The losing side was boosted by Kee Williams, who scored nine points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was JAYDEN FUTRELL, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, even though Morgan County scored an imposing 64 points on Tuesday, Salem still came out on top. Salem secured a 68-64 W over Morgan County.
Harlem has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season. As for Salem, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
Harlem didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Salem when the teams last played back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 71-67 victory. Does Harlem have another victory up their sleeve, or will Salem turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
