The Marianna Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Sneads 88-55 on the road. Marianna has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 23 points or more this season.
Marianna's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ryan Peace, who scored 25 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Peace is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Tra'jan Spears was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with four steals.
Despite the loss, Sneads still got an impressive performance from Nykavian Bradley, who scored 23 points. That was a full 41.8% of Sneads' points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kurdiss Baker, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
The victory was the eighth in a row for Marianna, bringing their record for this year to 19-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.6 points per game. As for Sneads, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-6.
Marianna will be playing in front of their home fans against Graceville at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Graceville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 339th, while Marianna is ranked 57th). As for Sneads, they will head out on the road to take on Paxton at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
