The Furr Brahmans will look to defend their home field on Thursday against the Kashmere Fighting Rams at 7:00 p.m. Kashmere took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Furr, who comes in off a win.
Furr can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 54-0 victory over Scarborough. Furr pushed the score to 51-0 by the end of the third, a deficit Scarborough had no chance of recovering from.
Darrius Garland was the offensive standout of the matchup as he rushed for 41 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 132 yards and two touchdowns on only nine passes. Ronald Jacobs was another key contributor, rushing for 23 yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Kashmere was beaten by North Forest 52-20 on Saturday.
Furr now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Kashmere, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 5-4.
Everything came up roses for Furr against Kashmere in their previous matchup back in November of 2022 as the squad secured a 52-10 win. Does Furr have another victory up their sleeve, or will Kashmere turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
