Midtown won the last time they faced M.L. King and things went their way on Friday too. The Midtown Knights put the hurt on the M.L. King Lions with a sharp 74-49 win. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 23 points or more this season.

Midtown was led to victory by Dhati Lewis and Darrion Hadley. Lewis went 5 of 7 on his way to 16 points and five rebounds, while Hadley went 5 for 10 en route to 11 points and six boards. Julian Horton was another key player, putting up eight points.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Midtown, bringing their record for this year to 12-5. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 32.7% in those games and 0% outside of them. As for M.L. King, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-14.
