Malique Campbell Campbell Turns in Season-Best Effort
Hanover Area was led to victory by Malique Campbell Campbell, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Saturday. Campbell rushed for 278 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 61 yards.
The victory snapped Hanover Area's losing streak at 11 games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-7 record. Campbell and Hanover Area will challenge Lake-Lehman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Lidge Kellum's Big Game Leads Wyoming Area over Lake-Lehman
Lidge Kellum was instrumental in extending Wyoming Area's winning streak to five on Friday. Kellum turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 207 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.9 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 103 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Unfortunately for Lake-Lehman, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Kellum. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Kellum saw the Knights), he rushed for 124 yards and a touchdown.
