Jordan won the last time they faced East Chapel Hill and things went their way on Monday too. The Jordan Falcons took their game with ease, bagging a 64-19 victory over the East Chapel Hill Wildcats. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 24 points or more this season.

Jordan's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Olivia Yancey led the charge by going 11 of 21 to rack up 22 points. Valerie-ange Batta was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 15 points and nine boards.

Jordan was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as East Chapel Hill only posted two assists.

Lauren Steiner and Alana Burroughs certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Steiner posted ten points and six rebounds, while Burroughs had eight points in addition to six boards and four steals. Steiner is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played.

The win made it two in a row for Jordan and bumps their season record up to 16-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 17.5 points over those games. As for East Chapel Hill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jordan won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Northern Durham at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jordan is facing Northern Durham at the right time seeing as Northern Durham is stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for East Chapel Hill, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll challenge Riverside-Durham at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. East Chapel Hill will also cruise into their next game with the timing on their side: Riverside-Durham will have lost four straight heading into Tuesday's match.
