Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Regis Jesuit). Everything went their way against the Castle View Sabercats on Friday as they made off with  a  17-10 win. The  victory was familiar territory for the Raiders, who have now won eight  matchups in a row.
 Christian Lopez and  Hudson Alpert made a splash while hitting and pitching. Throwing,  Lopez   tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Meanwhile,  Alpert   pitched four innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   four  hits. What's more,  Lopez posted three  strikeouts, the most he's  had since back in April. At bat,  Lopez  got on base  in three of his five plate appearances with two  runs and one  RBI, while  Alpert  went 2-for-4 with two  RBI and one  double.
 In other batting news,  Diesel Bernosky was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run, five  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  five  RBI gave  him a new career-high.  Gavin Cronin was another key player,  going 3-for-5 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base.
 Regis Jesuit  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .548. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  OBP total in three consecutive  games.
Regis Jesuit's win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 14-5. The  road  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Castle View, their loss dropped their record down to 15-6.
 Regis Jesuit and Castle View should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage  in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings. The Raiders will  square off against  Legacy  at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday with a big rank  advantage  (2 vs. 28). Meanwhile,  Castle View (ranked ninth) will meet Legend (ranked 83rd)  at 4:15  p.m.  on Monday.
